Welcome to Killers Phase One

You're one of a small number of people with access to Battle Syrup before public release.

What you're holding is an early prototype shared privately as part of Phase One, our first real-world testing programme.

Before anything is refined, polished, or released publicly, we want to understand how Battle Syrup performs where it actually matters: real routines, real work, and real life.

Over the next seven days, you'll help us find out.

Pay attention. Notice what changes. Notice what doesn't.

The purpose of Phase One is simple: learn as much as possible before the next iteration. Your observations will help determine what stays, what changes, and what comes next.

Thank you for being part of Phase One.

Let's see what happens.

Testing Expectations

Phase One is designed to be simple.

For the next seven days:

  • Use Battle Syrup as part of your normal coffee routine.

  • Pay attention to your experience throughout the testing period.

  • Share honest feedback, whether positive, negative, or somewhere in between.

  • Complete any follow-ups sent during or after testing.

  • Use the product as you normally would. Consistency is more valuable than perfection.

Phase One Participants Only

Confidentiality

Everything within Phase One is intended for participants only.

Battle Syrup is still in development, and many aspects of the product, programme, and future direction remain subject to change.

Phase One materials, communications, discussions, and product information should remain within the programme and not be shared publicly.

The people participating in Phase One are seeing the product at a stage most people never will.

You applied, were selected, and earned access to something that remains unavailable to everyone else.

We'd like to keep it that way.

Inside Battle Syrup

Battle Syrup Bottle

Cognizin® Citicoline

The Problem
Attention has become a scarce resource. Most people spend their day switching between tabs, notifications, messages, meetings, emails, and an endless stream of information competing for their focus. The result isn't usually a lack of stimulation. It's a lack of sustained attention. Coffee can help you feel awake. Staying focused on the thing that actually matters is a different challenge.

Why It's Here
Cognizin® Citicoline was included to support attention, concentration, and cognitive performance as part of a productive coffee ritual.

What Research Has Observed
Cognizin® is one of the most extensively studied forms of citicoline. Human clinical studies have investigated its effects on attention, focus, memory, and cognitive performance, with improvements reported in measures of attention, memory, and cognitive function compared with placebo.

L-Theanine

The Problem
Ever finished a coffee feeling more stimulated than productive? More switched on than focused? Coffee can be powerful, but for some people it comes with a trade-off: jitters, overstimulation, and the feeling that your brain is moving faster than your ability to direct it.

Why It's Here
L-Theanine was included to help create a smoother, more controlled coffee experience.

What Research Has Observed
Research investigating L-theanine alongside caffeine has reported improvements in attention and reductions in susceptibility to distraction compared with caffeine alone.

Electrolytes

The Problem
Most people blame caffeine. Almost nobody considers hydration. If you've ever found yourself on your third or fourth coffee of the day, deep into work, wondering why your energy or focus feels less reliable than it did that morning, there are usually more variables involved than caffeine alone.

Why It's Here
Magnesium, sodium, and potassium were included to support hydration, electrolyte balance, and the foundational systems that often get overlooked.

What Research Has Observed
Authorised health claims recognise magnesium's contribution to electrolyte balance and normal nervous system function, while potassium contributes to normal muscle and nervous system function.

B Vitamins

The Problem
The goal isn't simply to feel switched on. It's to stay switched on. Most people know the feeling of starting the day sharp, only to find themselves reaching for another coffee a few hours later because the momentum didn't last.

Why They're Here
B vitamins were included to support the processes involved in energy metabolism and everyday performance.

What Research Has Observed
Several B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal psychological function, and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue under authorised health claims frameworks.

Taste & Sweetening

The Problem
Most functional products ask people to make a trade-off. Better ingredients. Worse experience. The result is often a product that gets used enthusiastically for a week and forgotten shortly afterwards.

Why It's Here
Battle Syrup was designed to become part of a coffee ritual people genuinely look forward to. Because the best formulation in the world doesn't matter if nobody wants to use it consistently.

What Research Has Observed
Taste is one of the strongest predictors of long-term product adherence and repeat usage. People are significantly more likely to continue using products that fit naturally into existing habits and routines.

How To Use Battle Syrup

Phase One isn't about finding the perfect routine. It's about consistency.

For the next seven days, use Battle Syrup as part of your normal coffee ritual and avoid making unnecessary changes to how you typically consume coffee.

  1. Shake well before use.

  2. Add 3 pumps to your first coffee of the day.

  3. Stir thoroughly.

  4. Drink as normal.

One bottle is intended to provide approximately seven days of testing when used as directed.

A Few Notes
  • Use Battle Syrup with your first coffee of the day throughout the testing period.
  • For Phase One, we recommend sticking to the suggested serving size and avoiding additional servings later in the day.
  • Resist the urge to optimise. Phase One was designed around consistency.
  • Keep a mental note of anything that stands out during testing. The small observations are often the most valuable.
  • Better feedback creates better products.

Feedback + Follow-Ups

Receiving Battle Syrup isn't the end of Phase One. It's the beginning.

The purpose of this programme is simple: learn what works. Learn what doesn't.

Over the coming days, we'll check in periodically via WhatsApp and invite you to share feedback throughout the testing process.

WhatsApp message from Killer Labs
The most useful feedback is specific. What did you notice? What changed? What didn't? What surprised you? What felt different?

The more detail you can provide, the more valuable your contribution becomes.

Final Feedback — Once your testing period is complete, you'll be invited to submit your final feedback using the button below. Your feedback helps determine what stays, what changes, and what comes next.

FAQ

  • For the most useful feedback, we recommend using Battle Syrup consistently throughout the seven-day testing period as part of your normal coffee routine.

  • Don't worry. Simply continue the programme as normal and include any relevant details when providing feedback.

Phase One is designed to understand real-world use, not perfect use.

  • Yes. Battle Syrup can be used with hot or iced coffee. The preparation method matters less than using it consistently.

  • For Phase One, we recommend sticking to the suggested serving size of 3 pumps with your first coffee of the day.

Using additional servings makes experiences harder to compare across participants and reduces the value of the feedback collected during Phase One.

Consistency is more valuable than experimentation during Phase One.

  • That's useful information too. Not every observation needs to be dramatic to be valuable.

If something didn't change, we'd still like to hear about it. Honest feedback is always more useful than expected feedback.

  • Once your testing period is complete, you'll be invited to submit your final feedback. The most engaged participants may also be invited to contribute additional feedback, participate in future testing opportunities, or receive early access to future releases.

  • Please wait until you've completed your testing period before submitting your final feedback. We'll also check in via WhatsApp during testing, so feel free to share observations along the way.

  • If you need help during Phase One, reply to any of our emails or reach out via WhatsApp and we'll do our best to help.

Thank you for being part of Phase One.
